For the Neural DSP Nano Cortex

The screen your Nano Cortex doesn't have.

The Nano Cortex sounds huge and shows you a few status LEDs. NanoGig puts the preset name, the capture, the IR and every effect block on a screen you can read from standing height, and follows every footswitch press.

Two ways to see your pedal

Free web app

NanoGig

A web page that turns a phone, tablet or laptop into the pedal's stage display. Connect once over Bluetooth; nothing to install on the pedal, no account.

  • Preset name in huge type, with your MIDI controller's bank labels
  • FX blocks, capture and IR at a glance, tempo in the top bar
  • Optional control and edit modes, tuner, tempo

NanoGig Screen

The same gig view on a small USB-powered touchscreen that lives by the pedal. No phone on the floor: it boots in about a second and connects on its own.

  • Runs on three inexpensive ESP32 touchscreens
  • Switch presets, toggle blocks, edit effects from the screen
  • Updates itself over Wi-Fi

How it works

  1. Free the pedal. The Nano Cortex takes one Bluetooth connection at a time, so close Cortex Cloud first.
  2. Connect. Open the app and pick the pedal, or power the screen: it finds the pedal by itself.
  3. Play. Every footswitch press, encoder turn and tap tempo shows up live.

NanoGig is an independent community project. It reads and, only when you allow it, writes the pedal's settings over Bluetooth. Back up your presets in Cortex Cloud before using control or edit mode.
